Card Club Cards are Ready to View

Here are April's Card Club Cards. This is the last card class for this Club. If anyone wants in on the next go round, just let me know. I already have two full clubs and another two that need a few spots filled.

The sets we will be using are Rustic Rooster, God's Beauty and Thoughts and Prayers

Stampin Up Card Swap

Hello Everyone,

Some of you have expressed interest in a Card Swap. A Card Swap is where you make several of the same cards and get that many different cards back. The amount of cards made and received will depend on how many people are going to join.

The Rules:

You can only use Stampin Up stamp sets, but I will accept non-SU paper or embellishments. Include the recipe for the cards as well in case someone wants to case your idea. Once I get a headcount, I will tell you how many cards to make. Please use 8 1/2 x 11 size paper cut in half to make your cards, so they are all the same size. You will then either deliver or send me your cards by a specified due date. If you choose to mail your cards, please enclose a self addressed envelope with the same postage you needed to mail it to me, plus .75 or two extra stamps (seperately) in case it goes over (this will be returned to you if not used). Once I have received all of the cards, I will divide them up and mail out the cards to the people who have included postage and advise the rest of you when they will be available for you to pick up.

This is a great way to increase your card supply and to get new ideas.

Please let me know if you are interested. If I get at least 6 people, I will set a due date.

New Card Clubs

It is almost time to start thinking about the next six months. If you are interested in joining my Card Club, you not only get to make 9 cards each month, three each of three different designs, you get to get out of the house for an hour or two each month and spend time with others that share your hobby. Your obligation is to purchase $35 in merchandise each month for six months. There are six people in each Club and one month is yours to collect Hostess Benefits! One More Post Today

For those of you who are looking for the "Recipe" section of the catalog, it isn't in there. SU removed it to make more room for supplies. You can still find a list of supplies on the SU website. If you click on "Our Products" then "Current Catalog" you will see a supply list link to the right. You can view it with pictures or just text.

Dormant List

Don't forget that SU does have a dormant list. What is the dormant list? It is a huge list of stamp sets that they remove from the current catalog to make room for new ones. They are not retired, just out of season. Check it out on the SU website. For instance, if you are looking to make Christmas cards during the summer, all of the sets that haven't retired, but aren't in this catalog are still available for purchase!!!

There is still time to order your Love You Much Bundle! It is available as a bundle until January 31st. Most of you who have been to any of my shows, classes or get togethers have had the opportunity to see it first hand. It is a great addition to your collection. Well, so far I am doing well with my New Years Resolutions and this is part of it. Keeping you all informed of what is going on in my life and the world of Stampin Up.

My Stampin Up New Years Resolutions

I realize I am a couple weeks late on this, but better late than never.

For my first resolution, I am going to hold twice as many classes than I had last year. (I think I only had 2 last year).

My second is to be better at utilizing my time and set a time frame on how many hours a day/week I want to work on my Stampin Up business so that I don't take as much time away from my children.

Third, I want to be better at updating this Blog, so that you are all informed of upcoming promotions, classes, clubs, etc.

Lastly, I am hoping to earn a cruise through Stampin Up. In order to do this, I need to sell certain amounts of merchandise for the year. SU's year runs from July 1st - June 31'st. Right now, I am $27,000 short of earning the cruise. I will keep all of you updated on where I am at and if I get to this goal. I realize that this is a huge goal, but I am fortunate to have wonderful friends/customers like you who enjoy the products as much as I do.

I finally did it!
